Del Fuego

We stumbled upon this Tex Mex restaurant while in Babylon. Firstly, this place is absolutely huge inside. There are two seating areas and the place can easily fit a large party inside. The decor is very pleasant and looks very Western. The first thing they do is bring out some free nachos and salsa. We finished them quickly, so they brought more nachos. In fact, they brought a large basket that was about double the size of what we'd just eaten. Talk about customer service. For the food, we had a beef burrito and a plate of the chicken enchiladas. Like the nachos, the portions of our entrees were so big. The enchiladas plate was loaded with chicken, shredded, cheese, vegetables, lettuce, and came with rice as well. The burrito was so thick that it was about double the size of some burritos I have had at other places. Everything tasted fresh and delicious as well. There was so much food that we had no chance to finish everything and took a bunch of it to go. One entree could definitely feed two people with smaller appetites. This spot is 100% recommended for those in the mood for Tex Mex.

Love Del Fuego! My friend was so excited to show me this place, as she's been going there for years with her family. Being as I love Babylon and its many great restaurants and LOVE Mexican food, I was excited. My expectations exceeded! The wait staff was friendly, and started us with great chips and salsa. The portions were huge with quality food! My friend had a steak burrito, she said the meat was tender and the vegetables perfectly cooked. I got veggie tacos, they were some of the best I've had out! The beans weren't overcooked, the guacamole was fresh and there were plenty of onions! We both had leftovers and were both very happy. Definitely good for larger parties too. It can be hard to pick a restaurant in Babylon, but if it's Mexican you're craving, this is a must!

If you're looking for Tex-Mex with bold flavors, definitely try Del Fuego! My partner and I went for an early dinner. I ordered the combo fajita and she ordered the Fuego Burger. Both were outstanding in taste and presentation. The fries were some of the best I have had. The grilled vegetables in the fajitas were cooked perfectly with just a little crunch to them. My partner raved on the burger. I gobbled down my fajitas...nom nom nom. Pics of the chips and salsa (we were a little hungry), the fajita plate, indoor shots, and the outdoor front.

I had the lunch special of 3 brisket taco and it comes with black beans and rice. It was delicious. My husband had the pull pork burrito, he said it's good but my brisket taco tasted better. Today Wednesday its half price wings. Had the mango and the Chipotle both were good. Guacamole for our chips was good also. Service was great and the atmosphere was nice. Would visit again.

Might have been the worst dining experience I've had locally to West Babylon.. had an additional $50 on my gift card and threw it out because I'd never go back. Teach the staff about allergies, and when they tell you about them.. actually put focus on it. Also, there should never be more sour cream than salad in the salad bowl.. Tough experience. Stay away if you want anything more than drinks.. which were delicious.

Del fuego is usually really amazing but I recently got take out (avocado BLT wrap) and it was awful. I’ve had the avocado BLT wrap before and it’s one of my favorite things on the menu but this time I received a falling apart wrap almost exclusively large pieces of lettuce. There was only a few small pieces of tomato, an uncut slice of bacon, and a bit less than a half of an Avocado. They didn’t have the cucumber wrap and there was little to no flavor besides lettuce drenched in ranch. I know that the menu has changed but this is such a disappointing substitute.
